Some of the best moments in Tuscany happen behind the doors of a winery. Walking between the barrels, meeting the people who make the wine and tasting it where it is made is something no bottle at home can give you. I would love to take you there.
What the experience is
I am Claudia, a DipWSET sommelier based in Piombino, Tuscany. I take you from the vineyard to the cellar and let you discover all the secrets of a wine, told in the real voice of the small producers I work with. These are family-run wineries, and the welcome you receive is genuine because I am an insider, not a guide.
I take care of the visit from start to finish and explain what you are tasting, so you leave understanding why each wine tastes the way it does. Nothing is standardised: every day is shaped around your group, relaxed and never rushed. You can ask anything, taste at your own pace and enjoy the day.
How it works
- We talk first. Tell me who is coming and what you like, and I suggest the wineries that suit your group.
- I organise the visits. I arrange the tastings with the wineries, so you do not have to.
- I come with you. I accompany the group throughout, translate the wine into plain words and keep the day flowing.
- Tailored to you. A first-timer and a seasoned collector will not get the same day.
Who it is for
Friends and families visiting Tuscany, corporate and incentive groups, and anyone who wants to see how wine is really made. I also work with travel agencies and designers who want a knowledgeable local sommelier to accompany their guests.
