Some journeys find their moment later
May is paused. October still has a few places available.

I’m here with a small note from Tuscany.
Today, I want to share something honest about the journey behind Tuscan Escape, a small group experience designed for wine lovers who want to discover Tuscany in a deeper, more personal way, through wineries, shared tables, and meaningful moments. It’s not about rushing from place to place. It’s about connection, authenticity, and experiencing Tuscany with intention.
Before I continue, I want to introduce the person who makes this project even stronger: Jill Bruce. She is a U.S.-based sommelier from Tennessee, and we’ve built a beautiful partnership. We share the same passion, but from two complementary perspectives: Jill brings the needs and expectations of an American audience, while I bring deep local knowledge of Tuscany and its producers. Together, we create an experience that feels both welcoming and truly rooted in place.
When Jill and I created this experience, our intention was never to build a product, but something meaningful. A small, intimate journey through Tuscany, centered on connection, authenticity, and time shared slowly.
Over the past weeks, we had the clear feeling that many people are choosing to slow down their travel plans for the first part of the year 2026. And that’s understandable. We are living in a time with global instabilities, when priorities shift, calendars change, and long-term plans sometimes feel harder to commit to.
For this reason, the May edition will not take place.
Not because the idea isn’t strong, but because the group did not reach the minimum number needed to create the atmosphere this experience truly deserves.
And I have learned something important over time: some projects only make sense when the right timing, the right energy, and the right people come together naturally.
So rather than forcing it, we chose to honor the rhythm.
To pause May.
And to focus fully on October.
Because October in Tuscany is special.
The vineyards are still vibrant, the light softer, the pace slower. Conversations deepen. Moments linger longer. The experience becomes even richer.
And the good news is that there are still a few places available for the October edition. Not many. Just enough to keep the group small, personal, and true to the spirit of Tuscan Escape.
If this is something that has been quietly living in your thoughts, maybe this is simply the right moment to explore it.

And if you’d like to get a more personal feel for the experience, some time ago Jill and I recorded a short video where we introduce ourselves and answer the most common questions about Tuscan Escape. If you’re curious, you can watch it here:

As always, no pressure.
Just an open door.
